Which AI Agent Should You Actually Be Using?
You've probably heard of Chat GPT, Claude, and maybe even Manus. But which one should you use? Here's a simple guide:
Chat GPT: Created by Open AI, it's the most well-known and versatile. It's great for creative writing, brainstorming, generating images, and answering everyday questions. Think of it as a multi-purpose tool. If you're new to AI, start here.
Claude: Developed by Anthropic, it's ideal for deep thinking. It excels at handling long documents, complex analysis, and detailed writing. It's also more cautious and less likely to make mistakes. If you need to process and summarize large amounts of information, Claude is your go-to.
Manus: The newest and most independent of the three. You give it a task, like researching competitors and writing a report, and it handles everything on its own. Recently bought by Meta for $2 billion, it's powerful for multi-step tasks but also more complex to use.
Quick Guide:
- New to AI? → Use Chat GPT
- Need detailed analysis? → Use Claude
- Want an AI to work independently? → Use Manus
Many people use more than one tool. Choose the right one for each task.

The Real Reason AI Gives you Garbage Answers - And How to Fix It
When you start using AI, remember this: the quality of your answer depends on how well you ask your question. If you just type "write me an email," you'll get a basic response. But if you say, "write me a professional but friendly follow-up email to a client who hasn't replied in two weeks, keep it under 100 words, and end with a clear call to action," you'll get something useful. This is called prompting—giving AI the right details to do its job well.
Here's a simple formula: Role + Task + Context + Format. For example, if you're a marketing expert, you might ask AI to "write a 3-sentence Instagram caption for a small candle business targeting women ages 25 to 45, with a warm and cozy tone, ending with a call to action." These four parts lead to much better results.
If you're unsure about writing prompts, try Prompt Cowboy at promptcowboy.ai. It's a free tool that helps you create better AI prompts without needing technical skills. You just describe what you want, and it turns it into a great prompt.
Your task this week: Next time you use AI, add at least one detail to your prompt, like a word limit, tone, format, or audience. See how much better the results are!
Topic 3:
The Pentagon Banned an AI Company. Here is the Story.
This story sounds like a political thriller, but it's real. In February 2026, the Trump administration made a historic move by telling federal agencies and military contractors to stop working with Anthropic, the company behind the AI tool Claude. This happened because Anthropic refused to let the Pentagon use its AI without any limits. The Department of Defense wanted to use Claude for all legal purposes, but Anthropic said no to using it for mass surveillance or fully autonomous weapons. The government didn't accept this, and a $200 million contract was canceled. Soon after, OpenAI announced its own deal with the Pentagon.
Here's the surprising part: the public supported Anthropic strongly. Claude became the top app in the Apple App Store, surpassing ChatGPT. Daily sign-ups hit new records, and both free and paid users increased significantly. Even though Anthropic lost a government contract, it gained a lot of public trust. Interestingly, Anthropic's technology was still being used in U.S. military operations because it couldn't be removed quickly.
What does this mean for you? The AI tools you use are made by companies with different values and rules. Anthropic prioritized safety, even though it cost them financially. This is important to consider when choosing which AI to trust with your work and data. Anthropic has also filed lawsuits against the government, and there's a six-month period to phase out their technology. We'll keep you updated on what happens next.
Closing Insight:
The story of the Pentagon and Anthropic is bigger than politics. It is a signal that AI is no longer a background technology — it is embedded in national security, military operations, and the daily lives of millions of people. The companies building it, and the values they hold, matter more than ever.
